I think one of the things that attracts people to coffee is that it’s not so homogenized (as compared to soda). Coke is coke just about anywhere you drink it, but with coffee you notice differences, both good and bad. It’s kind of like wine in that way…
Just for the record I still stand by my belief that Starbucks is way overrated. Strong coffee need not be bitter.
